Virtual Town Halls: Resources for Federal Workers
The Colorado Department of Labor and Employment and its Unemployment Division are hosting Virtual Town Halls for federal workers. Their subject matter experts will review the unemployment insurance process, what former federal workers need to know before filing a claim, and the various reemployment support available to all Colorado jobseekers.
Space is limited. If capacity is reached before you are able to join, the webinar will be streamed live on YouTube. A recording of each session will be sent to all who register.
Federal Worker Fact Sheet
If you are a federal employee who has been recently laid off you may be eligible for unemployment benefits. You should file your claim as soon as possible after your last day of work. Colorado Unemployment Benefit Claims take approximately four to six weeks to process.
